A wind tunnel study of the structural loads and building motion was undertaken for these three wave shaped tower structures up to 43-storey above ground. This structure is certainly not amenable to code-based predictions of the structural loads and occupant comfort under building motion due to the unusual wave shaped form of the three towers.
Other studies were carried out including a façade pressure study. This study enabled to optimal design of the facade over the entire envelope including the significant podium component of the development. Real-time differential measurements were also carried out to determine the cladding pressures acting on the facade fins located along the edges of each of the three towers.
