Hong Kong International Airport Sky Bridge

Hong Kong International Airport’s Sky Bridge is the world’s longest airside bridge at 200-metre long connecting Terminal 1 and the North Satellite Concourse. At a height of 28 m above ground and with a span of over 130 m, it will allow the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, to taxi underneath. Windtech Consultants carried out the bridge deck section model wind tunnel tests to determine the structural wind loads and pressure coefficients for the cladding element design.
