Wind Microclimate Daylight & Sunlight Assessment, Waverley House, Bournemouth

The proposed redevelopment of Waverley House in Bournemouth, led by Troika Property
Holdings, which involves replacing the existing seven-storey office building at 115–119 Holdenhurst Road with a landmark 27-storey mixed-use tower. The scheme includes purpose-built student accommodation comprising 596 units, commercial and office spaces, and a range of communal amenities, including study areas, lounges, a gym, and a public café.

Windtech was engaged to undertake a daylight and sunlight assessment in support of a planning application. Leveraging our extensive experience in preparing environmental reports for planning submissions, we were able to apply key insights from our pedestrian wind microclimate studies to inform a robust and context-sensitive daylight and sunlight Analysis.
