Long-term Monitoring
Tall buildings and structures move and vibrate when subjected to external forces, which can make occupants uncomfortable or even reduce the life of the structure. There are a number of ways of mitigating these effects, which Windtech can advise on through its subsidiary company Windtech BMS.
Windtech BMS services include long term monitoring of completed structures, short term monitoring to provide a structural health ‘snapshot’ and spot measurements during the construction phase. This service complements Windtech BMS’s auxiliary structural damper design and commissioning service.
